Heavy-duty steel shelving for high-load storage

This five-shelf unit is built from riveted steel with a powder-coat finish and particleboard shelves. It measures 48 by 24 by 72 inches and supports up to 2300 lb of evenly distributed weight. The boltless design allows straightforward assembly in vertical or horizontal orientation.

2300 lb evenly distributed capacity

The single specification that determines suitability is the 2300 lb load rating across all five shelves. Buyers who need to store heavier point loads or require a higher total capacity should look for a unit rated above this figure.

Boltless assembly and flexible orientation

The boltless construction means no special tools are required and shelves can be repositioned during setup. The frame works in either vertical or horizontal configuration, letting you adapt the footprint to the available space without extra hardware.

Questions about this item

What does the 2300 lb capacity mean when the unit is fully loaded?

The 2300 lb rating applies to evenly distributed weight across all five shelves when the unit is assembled as specified.

How does the boltless design affect the way shelves lock into the frame?

Shelves locate on riveted keyhole slots in the uprights and are secured by tapping them down with a rubber mallet; no bolts or nuts are required.

What floor space and clearance does the 48x24x72 inch footprint need for assembly?

Allow at least 48 inches wide by 24 inches deep of clear floor area, plus enough overhead room to stand the 72 inch uprights upright during build.
