2-Drawer Vertical File for Letter-Size Folders

The Lorell 60156 is a vertical filing cabinet built for offices that store letter-size hanging folders. Two high-sided drawers hold standard folders without extra frames or adapters. Commercial-grade steel construction suits daily professional use. Medium Tone finish fits neutral workplace palettes.

Capacity and Headroom: Two Drawers, Fixed Footprint

Each drawer accepts letter-size hanging files on built-in high sides, removing the need for add-on rails. Ball-bearing slides open and close smoothly even when drawers are full. The cabinet measures 15 inches wide, 26.5 inches deep and 28.4 inches high, so it fits tight wall spaces but cannot expand beyond two drawers. Buyers who need legal-size filing or more than two drawers must choose a different model.

Build Integration: Freestanding Steel Unit

The unit stands on its own base and requires no wall mounting or adjoining furniture. Heavy-gauge steel walls support stacked binders on top, freeing desk surface space. No assembly hardware or tools are included in the specifications, so installers should verify fastener needs before placement. The Medium Tone steel finish resists visible wear in shared areas.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 in. wide Lorell 60156 sit flush with my current 15 in. deep desk return?

The cabinet measures 15 in. wide by 26.5 in. deep, so it will align with a 15 in. wide surface but extends 26.5 in. front to back.

How can I confirm the ball-bearing slides are operating correctly after assembly?

Open each drawer fully; it should glide quietly on the ball-bearing suspension and stop without binding or side-to-side wobble.

Does the 60156 include hanging-file rails or do I purchase them separately?

The two high-sided drawers accept letter-size hanging folders directly — no extra rails or accessories are required.
