LCD wall alarm clock with temperature history

The Lorell 60998 is a digital wall clock that also shows indoor temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. A bar chart records the temperature history for the last 12 hours. The display adds moon phase and week of the year information. It suits offices or home workspaces that want a single glanceable device.

Silent operation with battery power

The clock runs on batteries so it draws no mains power and produces no fan noise. Typical use is limited to the LCD segment drive and the alarm buzzer. There are no moving mechanical parts beyond the silent quartz movement. Heat output is negligible in normal indoor conditions.

ABS plastic case with simple mounting

The silver case is moulded from ABS plastic for impact resistance. A plastic lens protects the black LCD face with printed numerals. The unit is designed for direct wall mounting using a single fixing point. Battery access is from the rear without removing the clock from the wall.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Lorell 60998 clock on the wall and what step is often missed?

Insert the two AA batteries first, then hang the unit on a screw using the keyhole slot on the back; the step people miss is setting the time zone before mounting so the radio-controlled sync can work.

What maintenance will the Lorell 60998 need over time?

Replace the two AA batteries roughly once a year; the plastic lens can be wiped with a soft dry cloth if it gathers dust.

What limit appears first during continuous operation of the Lorell 60998?

Battery life is the first limit — the LCD, temperature history bar chart and moon-phase display all run from the same two AA cells.
