Round Tabletop for Hospitality Spaces

This 42-inch round tabletop is built for cafeterias and breakrooms where people gather to eat or meet. The light-gray finish fits neutral decors without drawing attention to itself. It arrives as a top only, so a base must be sourced separately. Assembly is required before the surface is ready for use.

45 lb Density Core with HPL Surface

High-pressure laminate is thermofused to both faces of a 45 lb density particleboard core for stain and scratch resistance. The 1-1/4 inch thickness gives a solid feel under dishes and laptops without flex. Heavy point loads or prolonged moisture exposure will eventually degrade the particleboard beneath the laminate. The PVC edge banding protects the perimeter but cannot be refinished if damaged.

Pre-Drilled for X-Leg Base Mounting

A single centred hole is factory-drilled to accept the matching X-leg base sold by the same collection. The vinyl T-mold edge runs the full circumference in the same light gray, keeping the profile clean. No additional hardware is included, so installers must supply bolts suited to the chosen base. The round shape eliminates sharp corners in tight traffic lanes.

Questions about this item

Will the 42" round top fit the existing X-leg base I already own?

The top has a pre-drilled hole for the Lorell X-leg base; verify your base uses the same mounting pattern before attaching.

How can I confirm the high-pressure laminate surface is properly thermofused after assembly?

Inspect the light gray vinyl T-mold edge and both faces for a uniform, gap-free bond with no delamination or air pockets.

Does the 62579 tabletop ship with the X-leg base or mounting hardware?

Only the 1" thick particleboard PVC top is included; the X-leg base and fasteners are sold separately.
