48-Inch Cherry Bridge Unit

The Lorell 69424 is a new bridge component designed to connect two desks into a continuous U-shaped workstation. It provides a 48-inch wide by 24-inch deep worksurface finished in cherry laminate. The 1-inch thick top uses 3mm PVC edges for durability. Two integrated grommets route cables cleanly through the top and modesty panel.

For Expanding an Executive Desk

This unit suits buyers extending an existing Lorell desk into a larger layout. It requires compatible pedestals or returns on both sides to function as intended. Shoppers needing a freestanding desk or a corner corner unit should look at other configurations. The fixed dimensions also limit use in spaces narrower than the stated width.

48-Inch Width with Dual Grommets

The 48-inch span determines whether the bridge fits between your current desk components. Dual grommets on the top and back panel are the only cable-management features included. Verify the cherry laminate matches your existing furniture before ordering.

Questions about this item

How does the 48-inch width work when this bridge connects two desks in a U-shaped layout?

The 48-inch span bridges the gap between a main desk and a credenza, giving a continuous worksurface at standard desk height.

What does the 1-inch thick laminate top with 3mm PVC edges mean for daily durability?

The 1-inch core resists sagging under monitors and paperwork, while the 3mm PVC edging protects the front edge from chips and impact.

Will the 24-inch depth and 29-1/2-inch height align with my existing Lorell desks?

Yes, the 24-inch depth and 29-1/2-inch height match the Essentials series, so the bridge sits flush with matching desks and returns.
