Fixed Pedestal for L-Shape Desks

The Lorell 69605 is a freestanding pedestal designed to integrate with L-shape desk configurations and bridge returns. It provides dedicated file storage for home or professional offices needing a compact, fixed unit.

Laminate Construction and Floor Stability

High-quality laminate with metal-to-metal cam lock connections forms the chassis, while a 1-inch thick top adds rigidity. Adjustable floor guides compensate for uneven surfaces and keep the unit steady during daily drawer operation.

Two File Drawers with Hangrails

Each drawer includes hangrails that accept both letter-size and legal-size hanging files. Predrilled holes with metal inserts simplify attachment to adjacent surfaces, and 96mm silver brushed pulls with 3mm PVC edges complete the front.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the Lorell 69605 pedestal to a bridge return, and which step is often missed?

Use the predrilled holes with metal inserts to bolt the unit to the return; the step often missed is adjusting the floor guides so the pedestal sits level before tightening the bolts.

What part of the Lorell 69605 will need replacement first with daily file access?

The metal-to-metal cam lock connections and drawer slides endure the most cycles; lubricating the slides annually extends their life.

At what load do the 96 mm drawer pulls on the 69605 start to feel loose under sustained use?

The pulls are fixed to the drawer fronts with machine screws; they typically stay secure unless the laminate around the screw holes strips from repeated heavy pulling.
