Right Pedestal Credenza Desk

The Lorell 79162 is a right-hand pedestal desk built for professional offices needing integrated storage. Its steel chassis and 1-1/8" thick laminated top create a durable work surface that resists stains and scratches.

Steel Frame with Grommet Management

The steel construction supports heavy daily use and relocation without structural compromise. Integrated grommets and built-in cord management keep power and data cables organised while the lockable drawers secure contents.

Two-Drawer Pedestal Configuration

One box drawer holds supplies and one file drawer accepts hanging folders on ball-bearing suspension for quiet operation. Buyers needing a left-hand return or a larger multi-pedestal layout should select a different configuration.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 24" deep or the 72" wide version of the Lorell 79162?

The Lorell 79162 is a single model measuring 24 inches deep by 72 inches wide, so there is no separate depth or width option to choose.

What does the 139 lb weight mean once the desk is in my office?

At 139 lb the steel chassis and 1-1/8" laminated top give a solid, stable feel that resists wobble during heavy daily use and survives relocation without damage.

How does the steel ball-bearing suspension affect drawer operation in practice?

The ball-bearing suspension lets the box drawer and file drawer open and close smoothly and quietly, even when fully loaded with supplies or hanging folders.
