High-back multi-task office chair

The Lorell 81100 is a high-back multi-task chair designed for office workers who need lumbar support during long desk sessions. Its deep molded seat and back provide added comfort while the pronounced lumbar support includes 2" back height adjustment. Adjustable height and width arms accommodate different body types. The chair supports up to 225 lb capacity.

Assembly and adjustment

The chair arrives as a single unit requiring basic assembly of base, cylinder, and seat components using included hardware. Pneumatic seat-height adjustment ranges from 18-9/10" to 22-2/5" for quick positioning. Asynchronous control allows back forward/back pitch adjustment with free-floating or locked positioning. 360-degree swivel enables full rotation. Common issues include misaligned arm brackets during assembly and stiff cylinder operation initially.

Compatibility checks

Verify your flooring suits the supplied casters as the chair is available in black frame only. Confirm the 225 lb capacity meets user requirements before ordering. The 100 percent acrylic fabric carries a 30,000 cycle abrasion rating for durability assessment. Back dimensions measure 20-1/2" wide x 7" thick x 23" high for workspace clearance planning. Overall dimensions range 26-7/8"x26"x39"to42-1/2" for space allocation.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the pneumatic seat height is set correctly after assembly?

Adjust the lever until the seat sits between 18-9/10" and 22-2/5" from the floor, then verify the 360-degree swivel moves freely and the back locks in both free-float and fixed positions.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra parts?

The chair ships as 1 Each with deep molded seat, high back, adjustable arms, and black frame already attached; no additional components or tools are required for basic operation.

Which version should I choose for a user near the 225 lb. capacity limit?

The single 81100 model in gray acrylic fabric with 30,000-cycle abrasion rating supports up to 225 lb., so select this configuration when the occupant approaches that weight threshold.
