Clear vinyl chairmat for low-pile carpet

The Lorell 82819 chairmat measures 36 by 48 inches with a 19 by 10 inch lip. It is made from 1/9 inch thick clear vinyl that is nonphthalate, noncadmium and BPA-free. The mat protects low-pile carpet from caster wear while providing an easy-glide rolling surface.

Suited for home or office desks on low-pile carpet

The studded bottom grips the carpet to keep the mat in place. The lightly textured top resists scuffs and slips during daily use. Buyers with hard floors or thick pile carpet should look at a different mat type.

19 by 10 inch lip extends under the desk

The lip covers the area beneath the desk where the chair rolls most often. Roll-formed edges make the transition from carpet to mat smooth. The mat is sold as a single unit.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/9" thick vinyl show dents after the casters roll all day?

The 1/9" thick vinyl is designed for firm, low-pile carpets and resists scuffing from daily caster traffic.

What carpet type must I already have for the 10" x 19" lip to sit correctly?

The mat is weighted for firm, low-pile carpet; the studded bottom grips that surface so the 10" x 19" lip stays flat.

Will the 48" x 36" clear surface slide on the older hardwood section beside my carpet?

The studded bottom is made for low-pile carpet only; on hardwood it can slip, so keep the entire 48" x 36" area on carpet.
