Side-loading desk trays, set of two

This pair of side-loading letter trays keeps incoming documents visible and within reach. Steel mesh construction with double-rimmed edges and a powder-coat finish resists snags and wear. The angled metal base lifts the front for quick access and lets the trays stack securely. Each unit measures 14-1/4 by 10-3/4 by 3 inches and the design protects the desktop underneath.

Ideal for high-volume paper handling.

These open trays suit professionals who sort active paperwork by hand and want immediate side access. They work well on desks, counters or shelves where documents are added and removed throughout the day. Users who need lockable compartments, dust protection or vertical filing should consider cabinets or drawers instead.

Side-load orientation

The side-loading design determines how papers enter and leave the tray, making it the key factor for workflow fit. Side entry supports rapid, one-handed placement without lifting the stack. If your process relies on top-down drops or front pull-out access, a different tray style will match that motion better.

Questions about this item

How much desk space do the 14-1/4 by 10-3/4 inch trays require?

Each tray measures 14-1/4 inches wide by 10-3/4 inches deep, so allow that footprint plus a little clearance for the angled metal base.

What is the correct way to stack the two trays and what mistake should I avoid?

The metal base angles each tray for easy access; stack them directly on top of one another using the base feet, but do not force them sideways or the rims can bind.

Will the powder-coat finish on the steel mesh need any upkeep over time?

The powder-coat finish is durable and requires no special maintenance; simply wipe the mesh with a damp cloth if dust builds up.
