Product Identity

The Lorell 85561 is a new mesh high-back office chair finished in black. It targets professionals who spend long hours at a desk and want adjustable lumbar support with a breathable backrest. The seat uses fabric upholstery while the back relies on high-strength elastic nylon mesh. Buyers who need an integrated headrest or a leather seating surface should look elsewhere.

Adjustment Limits

Pneumatic seat-height adjustment travels from 18" to 21-3/4". Seat and back angles adjust independently and a ratchet back mechanism sets the backrest height. Two-way adjustable armrests move up and down with black polypropylene covers. The chair swivels 360 degrees on a 26" diameter reinforced nylon five-star base with 50mm hooded dual-wheel casters. Weight capacity is 275 lb.

Installation Reality

The unit ships sold as 1 EA and requires assembly of the base, cylinder, seat and back components. The 51.81 lb weight means two people make the job easier when aligning the gas lift and bolting the back to the seat. Common issues include overtightening the armrest bolts and missing the ratchet back engagement on first use. Casters press into the base by hand.
