Cherry Laminate Keyboard Tray 25.6

The Lorell 87526 is a cherry laminate keyboard tray measuring 25.6 inches wide by 15.1 inches deep. It mounts beneath a desk to keep the typing surface out of the way when not in use. The tray suits office workers who want a dedicated keyboard platform without sacrificing desk space.

Upgrade from a fixed desk surface

This tray replaces a static desk top by adding a sliding mechanism that pulls the keyboard toward the user. The jump is worth it when the existing desk forces a reach that strains shoulders or when the work surface is too high for comfortable typing. It fits Lorell Essential Series desks and most other desks with enough clearance underneath.

Limits of the under-desk slide mechanism

The tray requires at least 30.91 inches of clear width and 18.31 inches of clear depth beneath the desk for the track and the tray body. A thickness of 2.56 inches means low-profile desks or drawers directly below the mounting surface may block installation. Buyers who need a mouse platform on the same level or who have a desk with a centre support beam cannot use this tray.

Questions about this item

What are the overall dimensions of the 30.91 in x 18.31 in x 2.56 in tray for desk clearance?

The unit measures 30.91 inches wide, 18.31 inches deep and 2.56 inches high, so verify your desk underside has at least that much clear space before mounting.

How do the included brackets attach the 25.6 inch wide tray to a Lorell Essential Series desk?

Fasten the supplied brackets to the desk underside with the provided screws, then slide the tray onto the tracks; the step often missed is fully tightening the bracket screws before loading the tray.

When should the ball-bearing slides on the 15.1 inch deep tray be lubricated?

Apply a light PTFE spray to the slide rails once a year or whenever the tray starts to stick, wiping away excess to keep the cherry laminate clean.
