Door wedge for home and office

This foam wedge slides between a door and its frame to hold the door open without damaging the hinge or jamb. It suits both residential and commercial doors and is sold as a single unit.

Holds position under constant pressure

The dense foam compresses to grip the gap and resists rebound so the door stays open during extended use. It maintains its shape through repeated daily cycles without splitting or crumbling.

Compact foam build with no hardware

The wedge requires no screws, adhesives or mounting brackets — just slide it above the hinge when needed and remove it when not. Blue colour makes it easy to spot on the floor.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the foam wedge generate when left in place all day?

The wedge is a solid foam piece with no moving parts, so it produces no heat and makes no sound while holding the door open.

What must I already own for this wedge to work?

You need a hinged door and a door frame with enough clearance above the hinge for the wedge to slide into place.

Will the blue foam wedge damage an older wooden door frame or hinge?

The dense foam is designed to hold the door without marring the hinge or jamb, even on older wood frames.
