Four-Drawer Lateral File

The Lorell LLR34387 is a four-drawer lateral file finished in cherry laminate. It is designed for offices that need to store both letter-size and legal-size documents in a single cabinet. The unit ships as one complete assembly.

Sustained Daily Use

Drawers run on steel ball-bearing slides with full extension, so they open smoothly even when fully loaded. The central lock secures all four drawers at once, and the anti-tip mechanism prevents more than one drawer from opening at a time. A 1"-thick laminate top and 3 mm PVC edges resist wear from constant access.

Before Ordering

Verify that the 35-1/2" width, 22" depth and 54-3/4" height fit the intended floor space and allow clearance for full drawer extension. Confirm the cherry laminate matches existing furniture tones. Adjustable levelers are included to stabilise the cabinet on uneven floors.

Questions about this item

How much noise or heat does the Lorell LLR34387 produce when it stays closed all day?

The cabinet has no moving parts or electronics, so it generates no noise, heat or power draw while sitting idle.

What must I already own to use the drawers for letter or legal files?

The unit includes hangrails, so you only need standard hanging folders in letter or legal size.

Will the anti-tip mechanism still work if I place this 54-inch-high file next to older, shorter cabinets?

Yes, the interlock lets only one drawer open at a time regardless of adjacent furniture height.
