Healthcare-Grade Antimicrobial Vinyl

The Lorell LLR66996 sled-base guest chair uses healthcare-grade antimicrobial vinyl suited for clinical waiting rooms, reception areas and patient spaces. Its steel frame provides a stable platform for visitors and patients in high-traffic environments. The black finish coordinates with common healthcare colour schemes. Buyers who need adjustable ergonomic controls or mesh backs should look elsewhere.

Easy-Clean Surface and Stable Frame

The vinyl surface wipes down quickly between users, supporting standard infection-control routines in busy facilities. The steel sled base distributes weight evenly without rocking on level floors. No moving mechanisms or casters are present, so there are no rolling noises or brake adjustments to manage.

Five-Year Limited Coverage

The chair carries a Lorell limited five-year warranty from the manufacturer. The sled base slides across hard flooring without snagging, yet it does not glide on carpet the way casters would. Facilities that require frequent reconfiguration or stacking should consider alternative seating styles.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the sled base and where do people usually go wrong?

The chair ships with the sled base detached; attach it using the included bolts and tighten them in a cross pattern so the frame sits level on the floor.

What part of the antimicrobial vinyl will need attention over time?

The vinyl surface resists microbes and cleans with standard healthcare disinfectants; only the seat cushion foam may eventually compress and require replacement.

At what point does the steel frame show its limit during continuous daily use?

The welded steel sled frame is rated for constant occupant weight; the first sign of fatigue is usually slight flex in the rear legs after years of heavy traffic.
