Club chair for reception areas

The Lorell LLR68948 is a single club chair designed for waiting rooms and reception spaces. Its open silhouette and bonded leather upholstery in tan create a welcoming impression for visitors. Four wooden legs with a mahogany finish provide a stable base. The chair arrives fully assembled as one unit.

Capacity and comfort limits

Thick foam cushions meet CA117 fire-retardant standards and support a maximum load of 250 lb. The seat and back meet at a slight obtuse angle to encourage a relaxed posture during short waits. Integrated side panels function as armrests without adding separate moving parts. Heavier users or all-day seating needs exceed the intended design.

Upgrade from basic stacking chairs

This chair replaces lightweight stackable or folding seats where a more permanent, professional appearance is required. The bonded leather and wooden legs suit environments that host clients regularly. Facilities needing higher weight ratings, adjustable features or modular configurations should specify a different product class.

Questions about this item

Will the 34-1/2" width and 36" depth fit alongside my existing 31" deep desk without crowding the walkway?

The chair measures 34-1/2" wide by 36" deep, so it extends several inches beyond a 31" desk; allow extra clearance behind it for the obtuse-angle recline.

How can I confirm the foam cushions meet the CA117 fire-retardant rating after the chair arrives?

Check the sewn-in label on the cushion — it will state CA117 compliance, verifying the thick foam meets that fire-retardant standard.

Does the box include the four Mahogany-finished wooden legs, or must they be purchased separately?

The chair ships with all four sturdy wooden legs in a Mahogany finish already attached; no separate leg purchase is required.
