Desk for Home Office

The Lorell PD3066LSPGE Prominence 2.0 desk provides a 66.00 inch wide laminate work surface finished in Gray Elm. It includes a modesty panel, a lockable drawer on ball bearing slides and a grommet for cable routing. Adjustable glides level the unit on uneven floors. The laminate top resists impact, burns and marring for daily durability.

Best for Solo Workstations

This single-pedestal desk suits individuals who need secure storage and a broad surface for monitors or paperwork. The lockable drawer protects confidential documents. Buyers who require a return, a credenza or multiple pedestals should consider a larger configuration. The fixed height and single drawer limit flexibility for shared or sit-stand setups.

Laminate Surface Under Daily Use

The Gray Elm laminate withstands sustained contact from keyboards, mice and documents without showing wear. Impact, burn and mar resistance keep the finish intact through long work sessions. Ball bearing slides maintain smooth drawer operation over repeated cycles. Adjustable glides preserve stability when the desk is fully loaded.

Questions about this item

Does the 66.00" desk need any wall brackets or support legs beyond the adjustable glides to stay level?

The unit stands on its own adjustable glides; no wall brackets or extra legs are required for stability.

Will the grommet on this desk accept the cable tray from my older Lorell workstation?

The grommet is a standard round cut-out, so most Lorell cable trays with matching diameter will fit without modification.

How can I confirm the ball-bearing slides on the lockable drawer are operating correctly after assembly?

Open and close the drawer fully several times; it should glide smoothly on the ball-bearing slides and the lock should engage cleanly at the closed position.
