Overhead Hutch for 66-Inch Desks

The Lorell PH6639ES is a 39-inch high hutch designed to sit on 66-inch wide Prominence 2.0 desks or credenzas. It provides enclosed overhead storage with four doors finished in espresso thermofused melamine. The unit suits offices needing secure, accessible space above the worksurface.

Wall-Mounted Installation with Finished Back

Mounting the hutch requires securing it to wall studs above the desk; the 16-inch depth and particleboard construction make proper anchoring essential. The finished back panel allows placement away from walls without exposing raw edges. Misaligned brackets or insufficient fasteners are the common issues that lead to instability.

Verify Desk Series and Clearance First

Confirm the supporting furniture belongs to the Prominence 2.0 66-inch range so the hutch width aligns exactly. Check that the 39-inch height leaves adequate headroom for users and does not interfere with overhead lighting or sprinklers. Ensure the wall structure can accept the required mounting hardware.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the hutch is properly aligned on my 66" Prominence 2.0 desk after assembly?

The 66-inch width and 16-inch depth match the footprint of 66" Prominence 2.0 desks or credenzas, so the front edges should sit flush when centred on the worksurface.

What comes with the PH6639ES and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the 39-inch high espresso laminate hutch with four doors and a finished back; mounting hardware for attaching it to a compatible desk or credenza is not included.

Which version of the Prominence 2.0 hutch fits a 66-inch wide desk?

The PH6639ES is the 66-inch wide model in the Prominence 2.0 series; narrower or wider widths are separate SKUs and will not align with a 66" desk.
