8-Channel 4K PoE NVR with 2TB

This 8-channel network video recorder captures 4K resolution footage from up to eight PoE cameras. Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by delivering data and power over a single cable. The unit ships with a 2TB hard drive for immediate local recording. It suits homeowners or small businesses building a new wired surveillance system.

Expandable storage and fanless operation

The recorder supports additional internal drives for longer retention without external enclosures. A fanless design keeps operating noise to a minimum in quiet rooms. Typical power draw remains low because each camera is powered directly through the PoE ports. No active cooling means fewer moving parts to maintain over time.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Lorex Connect UA 4K 8-Channel PoE NVR and what step is commonly missed?

Connect each IP camera directly to the eight built-in PoE ports using Ethernet cables so the recorder supplies power and data; the step often missed is confirming every camera appears on the NVR's device list before finalising the mount.

What maintenance or replacement will the Lorex Connect UA 4K 8-Channel PoE NVR need later?

The pre-installed 2TB hard drive should be replaced if SMART errors appear or recording capacity becomes insufficient; install an additional compatible hard drive up to the recorder's maximum supported capacity to expand local storage.
