Louisville FXS1504 4 ft Fiberglass Cross Step Ladder

Product identity

The Louisville FXS1504 is a 4 ft fiberglass cross step ladder rated for 300 lbs. It suits trade professionals and maintenance crews who need a single ladder that works as both a step ladder and a leaning ladder. The Type IA duty rating supports heavy-duty daily use on job sites. Its ProTop design allows safe placement against walls, poles and corners.

Build integration

The ladder replaces separate step and extension ladders, freeing vehicle space and reducing the number of units carried to a site. Inside spreader braces protect the frame during transport between locations. The Raptor Boot provides bonded slip-resistant tread for stable footing on varied surfaces. The SHOX impact absorption system helps preserve the ladder structure when moving it across rough ground.

Sustained use behaviour

The fiberglass rails resist weather and electrical conductivity during long outdoor shifts. Double rivets and heavy-duty reinforcements maintain joint integrity after repeated setup cycles. The locking mechanism holds the leaning position securely while the magnet and tool slots keep equipment accessible. ANSI, CSA and OSHA compliance confirms the design withstands continuous professional demand.
