Compact 12-channel cellular tracker

The Lowrance 10000mA is a magnetic GPS tracker built for covert vehicle and asset monitoring. It ships with a SIM card and one month of 4G LTE service across the USA, Canada and Mexico. Fleet managers, trailer owners and anyone needing hidden placement will find the 10000 mAh lithium-ion battery and motion-activated wake-up suited to long-term deployments.

Cellular coverage and subscription dependency

Real-time tracking and 180-day history playback rely entirely on an active 4G LTE connection and a paid plan after the first month. Renewal rates are $4.9 per month on a two-year term, $5.7 per month annually or $6 per month quarterly. Areas without 4G coverage will interrupt updates and disable the web, iOS and Android app access.

Mounting surface and size clearance

The unit measures 69 x 32 x 74 millimetres and attaches by magnet, so a clean ferrous surface is required for secure placement. Verify that the intended spot on the car, truck, trailer or equipment offers enough flat area for the footprint and that the device will not be blocked by metal shielding that could degrade the cellular signal. Buyers who need a hard-wired installation or a non-magnetic mount should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 10000 mAh magnetic tracker or a smaller capacity?

The 10000 mAh model gives up to 21 days of operation; smaller capacities run for fewer days but are physically smaller, so choose based on how long you need between charges versus how much space you have for mounting.

What does the 12-channel specification mean when the tracker is installed in a vehicle?

Twelve channels let the receiver lock onto multiple satellites at once, improving position fix speed and accuracy even when the device is hidden under metal or in areas with partial sky view.

How does the cellular interface affect real-time tracking and subscription costs?

The built-in 4G LTE cellular connection provides coverage across the USA, Canada and Mexico; after the included first month the subscription renews at $4.9 to $6 per month depending on the plan length you select.
