Compact GPS tracker with magnetic case

The Lowrance Spark Nano 7 is a pocket-sized GPS tracker built for vehicles and mobile assets. It uses an 8-channel GPS receiver and 12-channel cellular protocol to deliver real-time location data over 4G LTE networks across North America. The device includes a waterproof magnetic case for covert attachment to cars, trucks or motorcycles. A subscription is required to activate the tracking service.

14-day battery and 32 GB storage headroom

The internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides up to 14 days of operation on a single charge, suited for extended deployments without daily maintenance. Velocity accuracy is rated at 0.05 meter per second for precise speed logging. Onboard memory is 1 MB with a miniSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards, allowing long-term track logs before data offload is needed. Heavy cellular use in fringe coverage areas will reduce the 14-day figure.

USB interface and Android-only app

A USB port handles charging and PC data transfer, while the tracking platform pairs exclusively with Android smartphones for live map viewing. The magnetic waterproof case clamps firmly to ferrous surfaces, surviving rain and road spray without extra sealing. No long-term contract is imposed, but the subscription must stay active for the tracker to report positions. Buyers needing iOS support or a built-in display larger than 2.5 inches should look elsewhere.
