16-inch WQXGA non-touch laptop panel

This 16-inch display replaces a damaged or dim panel with a 2560 by 1600 WQXGA resolution at 60 Hz. It delivers 400 cd/m² brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 100% sRGB coverage across 16.7 million colours. The matte finish suits professionals and students who need accurate colour for documents, code or creative work without touch input.

Upgrade from lower-resolution or worn screens

Swapping a 1080p or faded panel for this WQXGA model adds 2560 horizontal pixels and 1600 vertical pixels, sharpening text and UI scaling. The 60 Hz refresh rate matches standard office and media workloads, so the improvement is worth it when the original screen is cracked, has dead pixels or suffers from backlight bleed. Buyers who need higher refresh rates or touch support should look elsewhere.

Fits 40-pin eDP laptops with 16-inch chassis

The panel uses a 40-pin connector and 89-degree viewing angles on all sides, so it slots into compatible 16-inch laptops that accept the B160QAN02.W HW0A part number. Verify the exact model sticker before ordering because the supplier may ship a compatible alternative if the part number is not confirmed. No inverter or separate backlight cable is required.

Questions about this item

This screen uses a 40 pin connector. Match the cable on your laptop to this pin count before ordering.

Which steps are required to install the 16 inch 2560x1600 panel without touch?

Power off the laptop, disconnect the battery, remove the bezel, unscrew the old panel, unplug its 40 pin cable, connect the new panel, secure it, then test before reassembling.

What should be checked if the 400 cd/m² brightness or 1000:1 contrast degrades over time?

Verify the 40 pin cable seating and the backlight power circuit; persistent dimming or uneven lighting usually means the panel needs replacement.
