Replacement laptop screen

The LPScreen LM156LFAL01 is a 15.6 inch Full HD display with a 1920x1080 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It offers 250 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The panel uses a non-touch design with 262K colour depth. Wide viewing angles of 89 degrees on all sides maintain image consistency.

Repair technicians and DIY owners

This part suits anyone replacing a damaged LM156LFAL01 panel in a compatible laptop chassis. Buyers who need touchscreen functionality or a higher refresh rate should look at other models. The fixed 60Hz rate and lack of touch input limit use cases requiring pen support or smoother motion.

Exact model compatibility

The screen is built specifically for the LM156LFAL01 part number and lists only that model as compatible. Verifying the original panel part number before ordering is essential because the supplier may ship a compatibility model otherwise. An exact match avoids fitment or connector issues.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" FHD 1920x1080 60Hz panel fit the same mounting points as my original LM156LFAL01 screen?

Yes, the LM156LFAL01 is built to the same 15.6 inch form factor and resolution, so the mounting brackets and screw holes line up with the original display.

How can I confirm the 250 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast are performing correctly after installation?

Display a full-white test pattern and measure luminance with a colorimeter; it should read near 250 cd/m², and a checkerboard pattern should show a 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Does the box include the 30-pin eDP cable or adhesive strips, or must I order them separately?

The package contains only the LM156LFAL01 panel itself; the 30-pin eDP cable and any mounting adhesive are not included and must be sourced separately.
