Questions about this item

Does the LM156LFDL01 screen come with any mounting brackets or cables, or is it just the bare panel?

The listing describes only the 15.6 inch panel with a 30-pin connector; brackets, bezel, hinges or video cables are not included and must be sourced separately.

My laptop uses the LM156LFDL01 part number — is this the exact match or a compatible substitute?

This panel carries the identical LM156LFDL01 model and part number, 1920x1080 resolution, 60 Hz refresh, non-touch, 30-pin interface and 46 % NTSC colour, so it is the direct replacement.

What does the 220 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast actually look like in everyday indoor use?

At 220 cd/m² the screen is comfortable for office work and web browsing in normal room lighting; the 1000:1 contrast gives readable text and decent video blacks without the punch of higher-end panels.
