The panel covers 99% sRGB with 16.7M colours and offers wide 85 degree viewing angles. This new screen is designed as a direct replacement for compatible laptops.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This panel suits technicians or owners repairing a laptop that requires a 13.3 inch non-touch WQXGA screen with a 40 pin interface. It is not for buyers who need touch functionality, a higher refresh rate, or a different screen size or resolution. Compatibility must be verified against the specific laptop model before purchase.

The specification that decides fit

The 40 pin connector type is the single specification that determines whether this screen will install and function in the target laptop. An incorrect pin count or pinout prevents connection even if the size and resolution match. Confirm the original screen uses a 40 pin eDP interface before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 40-pin connector on this LP133WQ1-SPD1 screen without damaging the pins?

Align the 40-pin cable squarely with the socket on the LP133WQ1-SPD1 panel, insert it straight in until it seats fully, then lock the retaining flap; the step people get wrong is forcing the cable at an angle which bends the fine pins.

What maintenance will this 13.3-inch WQXGA panel need over time?

No internal maintenance is required; keep the 300 cd/m² surface clean with a microfibre cloth and avoid pressure on the 13.3″ glass, and the 99% sRGB colour accuracy will remain stable for the panel's lifetime.

What is the first limit I will hit during sustained use of this 60Hz display?

The 60Hz refresh rate caps motion smoothness, so fast scrolling or gaming will show judder before the 1300:1 contrast or 16.7M colour depth become limiting factors.
