Direct replacement for MacBook Pro A1398

This new 15.4 inch IPS panel matches the LP154WT2 (SJA2) specification exactly. It delivers WQXGA+ 2880x1800 resolution at 60Hz with 16.7M colours. The screen is a non-touch display intended solely as a direct replacement for the MacBook Pro A1398 assembly.

Installation requires full display disassembly

Replacing this panel involves separating the display assembly from the MacBook chassis and removing the glass or bezel to access the panel. The fragile ribbon cables and adhesive strips are the most common failure points; cracked flex cables or misaligned brackets often cause backlight bleeding or dead pixels after reassembly.

Verify the exact part number before ordering

Confirm your MacBook Pro carries the LP154WT2 (SJA2) model code on the original panel sticker. The supplier notes that a compatibility model may be shipped unless the exact model is requested by email after purchase. Ensure the connector type and mounting points match the original hardware.
