Display specifications

This 15.6 inch replacement panel delivers Full HD 1920x1080 resolution at a 165Hz refresh rate. It uses a 40-pin connector and offers 300 cd/m² brightness with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The matte surface covers 100% sRGB for accurate colour reproduction.

Who this fits

The screen suits owners of laptops built around the LP156WFG-SPT6 part number who need a direct swap. It is not for users requiring touch input, different connector pin counts, or alternative refresh rates. Buyers with incompatible chassis or mounting brackets should verify fitment before ordering.

Critical compatibility check

Confirm that your original panel carries the exact LP156WFG-SPT6 model code before purchasing. The 40-pin interface, 15.6 inch diagonal, and 165Hz timing must match the device specifications. An incorrect match will prevent installation or cause display errors.

Questions about this item

Will the 165 Hz panel sustain its refresh rate without brightness drop during long sessions?

The screen is rated at 300 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast, with no adaptive-dimming feature listed, so output should remain steady at 165 Hz.

How hot or loud does the LP156WFG get when driven at 165 Hz all day?

This is a passive LCD panel with no fan or backlight controller that generates audible noise; heat is limited to normal LED backlight warmth at 300 cd/m².

Which connector and pin count must my laptop already have for this 40-pin display to work?

Your laptop must provide a 40-pin eDP interface matching the LP156WFG-SPT6 pinout; the panel has no touch layer, so no extra touch-controller pins are required.
