15.6 inch 165 Hz replacement panel

This 15.6 inch LCD replaces the LP156WFG-SPT4 panel in compatible laptops. It delivers a Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 at a 165 Hz refresh rate. The matte finish and 40-pin connector match the original specification. Buyers needing a touch-enabled display or a different pin layout should look elsewhere.

40-pin connector and 16.7 million colours

The panel connects through a 40-pin eDP interface carrying 16.7 million colours. A 300 cd/m² brightness level and 1000:1 contrast ratio reproduce bright highlights and deep shadows. Wide 80-degree viewing angles in all four directions keep colours consistent when the screen is shared. No driver disc or calibration tool is included in the package.

Slim bezel design for direct swap

The slim bezel allows a direct swap without modifying the laptop lid or hinge brackets. The 40-pin ribbon seats in the existing motherboard header, so no adapter cable is required. Because the part is sold new, the polariser and backlight are free from prior wear. Installers must verify the exact LP156WFG-SPT4 part number before fitting to avoid connector mismatch.

Questions about this item

Will the 40-pin connector or the LED backlight need replacing after extended use?

The panel uses a fixed 40-pin eDP interface and an integrated LED backlight rated at 300 cd/m²; neither component is user-serviceable, so the entire display would be swapped if either fails.

Which limit appears first during long gaming sessions — the 165 Hz refresh ceiling or the 1000:1 contrast floor?

The 165 Hz refresh rate is the hard ceiling for motion clarity; contrast stays at 1000:1 regardless of load, so the refresh limit is reached first.

How much heat and power does the 15.6" 300 cd/m² panel add when running all day?

At 300 cd/m² brightness the panel draws only a few watts and stays near ambient temperature; it adds negligible heat or power load during continuous operation.
