What this screen replaces

This is a new 15.6-inch IPS panel with a 40-pin connector built to match the LQ156T1JW04 part number. It delivers a 2560 by 1440 Quad HD resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate and covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The matte surface has 16.7 million colours and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Viewing angles measure 85 degrees in every direction.

Fit and use cases

The panel suits anyone repairing a laptop that originally used the LQ156T1JW04 and wants the same resolution, refresh rate and colour coverage. It will not work for machines that require a different pin count, a touch layer, a lower or higher native resolution, or a 60 Hz or 144 Hz panel. Buyers needing a touchscreen or a different connector should look elsewhere.

The deciding specification

The 40-pin connector is the single detail that determines whether this screen will install and function. Verify the original display uses an identical 40-pin interface before ordering. An exact match on this connector avoids fitment problems and signal mismatches.

Questions about this item

What does the 240Hz refresh rate mean for motion clarity in a laptop?

A 240Hz panel refreshes the image 240 times per second, reducing motion blur and ghosting for smoother fast-paced gaming and video playback compared to standard 60Hz or 144Hz screens.

Does the 40-pin connector support the full 2560x1440 resolution at 240Hz?

The 40-pin eDP connector on this panel carries the Quad HD 2560x1440 signal at the native 240Hz refresh rate without compression or downscaling.

Will this 15.6-inch IPS panel fit my existing laptop bezel and mounting points?

This screen matches the LQ156T1JW04 form factor: 15.6-inch diagonal, 40-pin bottom-mounted connector, and standard IPS dimensions for direct replacement in compatible chassis.
