Screen specification

This 14 inch replacement panel delivers a 1920x1080 Full HD resolution at 60Hz. It uses a 30-pin connector and offers 250 cd/m² brightness with an 800:1 contrast ratio. The matte finish shows 16.2 million colours covering 45% NTSC.

Compatibility and limitations

The part is built for the MNE001BS1-2 model and lacks touch functionality. Buyers who need a touchscreen layer or a different pin layout should look elsewhere. The fixed 60Hz refresh rate also suits standard office use rather than high-motion gaming.

Critical specification

The 30-pin connector is the single detail that decides fitment; an incorrect pin count will prevent installation. Verify the original screen uses the same 30-pin interface before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the 30-pin connector on the 14-inch MNE001BS1-2 without damaging the ribbon?

Align the 30-pin connector squarely with the motherboard socket, press evenly until it clicks, then secure the retention latch; forcing one side first bends the delicate pins.

What part of the 1920x1080 60Hz panel is most likely to need replacement after a few years?

The LED backlight driving the 250 cd/m² brightness typically dims first; the panel itself has no user-serviceable components.

At what point does the 45% NTSC colour gamut become the limiting factor during long editing sessions?

The 45% NTSC coverage (16.2M colours) restricts accurate proofing for wide-gamut workflows long before the 800:1 contrast or 89° viewing angles do.
