Targeted replacement panel

This 14 inch panel is a direct replacement for the MNE007JA1-2 model. It delivers a 1920x1200 FHD+ resolution at 60Hz with 16.7M colours and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The matte, non-touch surface suits users who need a clear, glare-controlled display for daily work.

Build integration details

The screen connects through a 40-pin interface that matches the original chassis design. No touch digitiser is present, so the existing bezel and cable routing remain unchanged. Wide 89-degree viewing angles in all four directions preserve colour consistency when the lid is tilted.

Sustained operation behaviour

A 60Hz refresh rate and 1500:1 contrast ratio provide stable output during extended sessions. The fixed 1920x1200 resolution avoids scaling artefacts that can strain the GPU over time. Buyers who require touch input, higher refresh rates or HDR support should consider alternative panels.

Questions about this item

Does the 60 Hz refresh rate limit smooth motion during long work sessions?

The panel runs at 60 Hz, so motion updates sixty times per second; this is the fixed refresh ceiling for any sustained use.

How much heat or fan noise does the display add when the laptop runs all day?

The screen itself has no fan and draws only the power needed for the 14 inch backlight; heat and noise come from the laptop chassis, not the panel.

Will this 40-pin connector fit my existing laptop cable without an adapter?

The replacement uses a 40-pin interface; it connects directly to a matching 40-pin socket on the motherboard.
