16 inch WQXGA replacement panel

This is a new 16 inch laptop replacement screen with a WQXGA 2560x1600 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It uses a 40-pin connector and delivers 400 cd/m² brightness with a 1200:1 contrast ratio. The panel covers 100% sRGB and offers 89-degree viewing angles in all directions. It is a non-touch display designed as a direct swap for the MNG007DA1-H model.

Compatibility and touch requirements

The screen fits devices that originally used the MNG007DA1-H part and accept a 40-pin WQXGA panel at 60Hz. Buyers who need touch functionality should look elsewhere because this model is without touch. Anyone whose laptop requires a different connector pin count, a higher refresh rate, or a different resolution will not be able to use this panel.

40-pin connector specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 40-pin connector paired with the WQXGA 2560x1600 60Hz signal. If the original screen uses a different pin layout or a different signalling standard, this panel will not work. Verify the connector type on the existing display before ordering.

Questions about this item

How often will the 40-pin connector need reseating?

The 40-pin connector is designed for a single installation and does not require periodic reseating under normal use.

What limit appears first during continuous operation at 60 Hz?

The panel runs at a fixed 60 Hz refresh rate, so the frame-rate ceiling is the first hard limit during sustained use.

How much heat does the 400 cd/m² backlight produce after hours of use?

At 400 cd/m² brightness the backlight generates typical IPS-level warmth; the panel has no active cooling and relies on the laptop chassis for heat dissipation.
