What this 16-inch WQXGA panel replaces

This LPScreen N160GME-GLB is a new 16-inch laptop replacement screen with WQXGA 2560x1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It delivers 500 cd/m² brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio and 1.06 billion colours covering 100% DCI-P3. The panel uses a 40-pin connector and offers 89-degree viewing angles in all directions. It is made for owners of devices that originally shipped with the N160GME-GLB panel.

Fit and alternatives

The display matches laptops built around the exact N160GME-GLB part number and 40-pin interface. Buyers whose machines require a different pin count, a touch layer, a lower refresh rate or a different colour gamut should look at other models. The screen is sold without touch functionality, so systems expecting a digitiser will not work with this unit.

Deciding specification

The single detail that confirms compatibility is the 40-pin connector combined with the N160GME-GLB part number. If the original screen uses a different connector or carries another part code, this panel will not fit. Verify the part number on the existing display before ordering.

Questions about this item

How does the 165Hz refresh rate feel in everyday use on this 16 inch panel?

The 165Hz refresh rate makes motion look noticeably smoother than standard 60Hz screens, especially in fast-paced games or when scrolling quickly through long documents.

What does the 40-pin connector limit when fitting this display?

The 40-pin eDP connector is the standard interface for this class of panel; it carries video, power and control signals but does not support touch or higher bandwidth protocols.

Will the 16 inch WQXGA panel fit my laptop’s existing mounting points?

The screen is built to the 16 inch N160GME-GLB form factor with standard bracket positions; verify your chassis uses the same mounting holes before ordering.
