14-inch WQXGA replacement panel

The LPScreen NE140QDM-NX7 is a 14-inch laptop replacement screen with a WQXGA 2560x1600 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It delivers 400 cd/m² brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio and 100% sRGB colour coverage across a 16.7 million colour depth. The panel uses a 40-pin connector and is supplied new without touch functionality.

Upgrade from lower refresh or resolution

This display replaces screens running at 60Hz or 120Hz and resolutions below 2560x1600. The jump is worth it when the laptop’s GPU can sustain high frame rates at WQXGA and the chassis uses a compatible 40-pin 165Hz panel. Buyers whose device is limited to a 60Hz signal or a different pin layout will not benefit.

Straightforward swap with pin verification

Installation follows the standard 40-pin eDP process: remove the bezel, disconnect the old cable, connect the new panel and reassemble. The most common issue is a pin-count or signal-timing mismatch, so confirming the exact NE140QDM-NX7 part number against the original screen is essential before fitting. Wide 89-degree viewing angles remain consistent after installation.

Questions about this item

Will the 40-pin connector on this 14-inch WQXGA panel match my laptop's existing cable?

The screen uses a 40-pin connector. Verify that your current panel also uses a 40-pin interface and that the pin-out matches before ordering.

What is the correct way to seat the 40-pin connector during installation, and what mistake should I avoid?

Align the connector carefully and press it straight in until it clicks; the common error is forcing it at an angle, which bends the delicate pins.

How do I clean the anti-glare surface of this 2560x1600 165Hz display without damaging the coating?

Use a dry microfibre cloth or one lightly dampened with distilled water; avoid alcohol, ammonia or paper towels that can degrade the coating.
