14-inch 165 Hz WUXGA laptop replacement panel

This 14-inch display replaces a NE140WUM-NY1 screen with a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. It is built for owners of compatible laptops who need a new panel without touch functionality. The 40-pin connector matches the original part for a direct fit.

400 cd/m² brightness and 1200:1 contrast in daily

The panel delivers 400 cd/m² brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio for clear visuals during regular work or play. Wide 80-degree viewing angles on all four sides keep colours consistent when you shift position. No thermal, noise or power-draw figures are provided by the manufacturer.

99 % sRGB colour and 40-pin connector ready

The screen covers 99 % of the sRGB gamut with 16.7 million colours, so photos and video look accurate without extra calibration. A 40-pin interface is the only connection required; no additional cables or driver discs are mentioned. Buyers who need a touch-enabled panel or a different pin layout should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 40-pin connector on this NE140WUM-NY1 screen, and which step do people usually get wrong?

Align the 40-pin cable with the socket on the back of the panel, insert it straight until the latch clicks, then secure the bracket screws; the step most people miss is forgetting to lock the latch before tightening the brackets.

What maintenance or replacement will this 14-inch WUXGA 165Hz panel need over time?

The LED backlight is rated for typical notebook lifetime; no user-serviceable parts exist, so the only future replacement would be the entire panel if brightness degrades or a pixel fault appears.

What limit appears first during sustained gaming at 165 Hz on this 400 cd/m² display?

The 400 cd/m² brightness ceiling is reached before thermal throttling, so extended high-refresh sessions in bright rooms may look dimmer than expected.
