Repairers and upgrade seekers

Technicians replacing a damaged panel or owners wanting higher refresh performance will find this part matches the NE160QDM-NYJ form factor. Buyers who need touch input or a different connector pin count should look elsewhere. The screen is sold without touch functionality and uses a fixed 40-pin interface.

40-pin connector compatibility

The single decisive specification is the 40-pin connector, which must match the laptop’s cable exactly. Verify the original panel’s pin-out before ordering, as an incorrect connection will prevent installation. No adapter or alternative pin arrangement is supplied.

Questions about this item

Which laptop models accept the NE160QDM-NYJ 16" WQXGA panel?

The panel is built for the NE160QDM-NYJ model line; verify your device uses this exact part number before ordering.

Will the 40-pin connector on this 165Hz screen mate with my existing cable?

It uses a standard 40-pin interface, so any laptop wired for that pin count and the 2560x1600 signal will connect directly.

How can I confirm the 2560x1600 165Hz mode is active after fitting the screen?

Open the OS display settings and check that the resolution reads 2560x1600 at 165Hz; the panel should also show 400 cd/m² brightness and 100% sRGB colour.
