Adds two Gigabit RJ45 ports via a PCIe x1 slot using an Intel 82576 controller with Wake-on-LAN
The LR-LINK LREC9212PT adds two RJ45 copper ports to a server or workstation through a PCI Express x1 slot. It is built on the Intel 82576 controller for reliable 10/100/1000 connectivity in virtualised or iSCSI boot environments.
Multiple transmit and receive queues spread interrupts across processor cores, lowering per-core load during continuous traffic. The PCIe 2.1 x1 link delivers dedicated bandwidth that does not saturate under typical Gigabit line-rate conditions.
The card fits any x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and ships with both low-profile and full-height brackets. It operates from 0 °C to 55 °C and supports Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, VMware ESX and Solaris without extra drivers.

The card is rated for an operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C, so it stays within normal limits during continuous Gigabit traffic.
It requires a PCI Express x1 slot (version 2.1, 2.5 GT/s) and fits both low-profile and full-height brackets; the slot can also be x4, x8 or x16.
Yes — the driver list explicitly includes Windows Server 2008 R2, so the dual-port Intel 82576 adapter will function on that older OS.
