The LR-LINK LREC9714HT is a new quad-port Gigabit Ethernet network card built around the Intel I350 controller. It occupies a PCI Express 2.1 x4 slot and presents four RJ45 connectors, each capable of 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps operation. The board supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet and wake-on-LAN. Drivers are included for Windows, Linux and VMware ESXi environments.

Suited for multi-port server

This card fits servers or workstations that need four independent copper links on a single PCIe 2.1 x4 slot, and it offers flexible I/O virtualisation with up to 32 virtual ports for partitioning and quality-of-service. Buyers who require more than four ports, fibre connectors or a different bus interface should look at other models. The operating range is 0 °C to 55 °C with humidity up to 90 % non-condensing.

The single specification that decides fitment is the PCI Express 2.1 x4 electrical interface combined with four 1G RJ45 ports. The slot must provide at least x4 lanes; the card is also compatible with x8 and x16 slots and includes both low-profile and full-height brackets. No other bus type or port count is supported by this adapter.
