96% Layout with Number Pad

The LTC NB981 Nimbleback is a 98-key wired mechanical keyboard that keeps the number pad and dedicated arrow keys while shrinking the footprint by about 20 percent compared with a standard 104-key board. It is aimed at gamers and typists who want full numeric entry without sacrificing desk space.

Hot-Swappable Switches and Stable Wired Link

A hot-swappable PCB accepts any three- or five-pin MX-style switch so enthusiasts can change feel or sound without soldering. The detachable Type-C cable provides reliable, low-latency data transmission for extended gaming sessions.

White Backlight and Cable Routing

Twenty dynamic lighting presets run on a single white LED layer with five brightness and speed steps each. Channels moulded into the underside guide the cable toward the left, right or centre for a cleaner desk appearance.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the Red Switch keyboard produce during all-day use?

Red linear switches operate quietly with no click mechanism, so the board stays silent and generates no noticeable heat during extended sessions.

What must I already own to use the detachable Type-C wired connection?

A host device with a free USB Type-C port or a USB-A to Type-C cable is required for the detachable wired link.

Will the 98-key 96% layout work alongside my older 104-key keyboard muscle memory?

The 98-key compact layout keeps the number pad and separate arrow keys, so the familiar key positions remain while saving 20 % more desk space than a 104-key board.
