Suits listeners who want to use existing wired

The adapter works with phones, tablets and car audio systems that have a 3.5 mm input. It handles music control, volume adjustment and voice prompts from the unit. Buyers who need aptX or LDAC codec support should look at a different model. Anyone requiring longer than 8 hours of continuous playtime will need an alternative.

Bluetooth version 4.1 with A2DP and AVRCP profiles

This specification defines the wireless link quality and the stereo audio streaming capability. The 60 mAh battery recharges in roughly 2 hours. Operating range extends to 33 feet in open space. Noise reduction is included for clearer calls.
