14-in-1 USB-C Dock for Thunderbolt 3 Laptops

This LUOM BXS14IN1 hub expands a single Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port into fourteen connections. It adds dual 4K HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, SD and TF card readers, a 3.5 mm audio jack, 100 W Power Delivery pass-through and a wireless charging pad. The silver aluminium-and-ABS enclosure measures 8.23 by 3.82 by 1.06 inches and includes a 158 mm captive cable.

Sustained throughput on every port simultaneously

All five USB 3.0 ports share a 5 Gbps aggregate bandwidth while the RJ-45 link negotiates at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps. Dual HDMI outputs run at 4K 30 Hz or 1080p 60 Hz; adding VGA mirrors at 1080p without reducing the HDMI frame rates. SD and TF slots operate over USB 2.0 speeds, and the wireless pad delivers 5 W, 7.5 W or 10 W depending on the device placed on it.

Thermals and power in daily use

The aluminium shell dissipates heat from the PD 3.0 controller and the multi-port logic without a fan, so operation stays silent. Power draw scales with attached peripherals and the host laptop's charge state; the hub passes up to 100 W to the host while reserving headroom for the USB ports, Ethernet, card readers, audio and wireless charger. No external power brick is required beyond the host's own USB-C supply.

Questions about this item

How much power does the LUOM BXS14IN1 draw when all ports are active all day?

The hub passes up to 100 W through its USB-C PD 3.0 port to charge the host; its own controller and the five USB 3.0 ports share the remaining bus power, so sustained load stays within the laptop's supply limit.

Which port must my laptop provide for the LUOM BXS14IN1 to deliver video, data and charging?

Your laptop needs a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery; the dock uses that single connection for dual 4K@30 Hz HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, five USB 3.0 ports, SD/TF readers, audio and 100 W pass-through charging.

Will the LUOM BXS14IN1 work with my 2017 MacBook Pro Thunderbolt 3 ports?

Yes — the dock is listed as compatible with MacBook Pro 2016 through 2020 models and uses Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C with DP Alt Mode, so both 4K@30 Hz HDMI outputs, VGA at 1080p, Gigabit Ethernet and 100 W charging all function on that machine.
