What this camera does

The LUOM C29S is a 2MP Wi-Fi security camera that streams 1080P video at up to 15fps. It covers a wide area with 355° pan and 110° tilt, and built-in IR LEDs provide night vision to 10m. Two-way audio and motion alerts let you hear and speak through the Eye4 app from a phone, tablet, PC or Mac.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits anyone wanting a single indoor camera for baby monitoring, pet watching or general room surveillance with remote viewing on multiple platforms. It does not suit buyers who need 5GHz Wi-Fi, local recording without a cloud subscription, or outdoor-rated hardware. It also does not suit setups that require PoE power or wired Ethernet.

Check your setup first

Confirm you have a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and a free USB or mains outlet for the DC 5V supply. The Eye4 app must be installed on a compatible iOS, Android, Windows or macOS device. Ensure the mounting location is within 10m of the area you want to watch at night and that the 10.9 x 11.4cm footprint fits the chosen spot.

Questions about this item

What power supply do I need to run the LUOM C29S camera?

The camera requires a DC 5 V ±0.3 V power source, so a standard 5 V USB adapter with at least 1 A output will work.

Can I add the C29S to my existing ONVIF NVR that records other 1080P cameras?

Yes, the C29S supports ONVIF and streams H.264 at 1920×1080, so it will appear alongside your current 1080P channels.

How can I verify the night vision is functioning after I mount the camera?

In the Eye4 app switch to night mode; the IR LEDs should glow faint red and the live view must show a clear monochrome image out to 10 metres.
