Supported resolutions and features

The cable handles 8K@60Hz, 5K@60Hz, 4K@144Hz, 4K@60Hz, 2K@240Hz, 2K@165Hz and 1080P@240Hz with HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and 1.4. DSC 1.2 compression and FEC forward error correction keep the signal clean. Multi-Stream Transport allows daisy-chained monitors from a single port. 32 audio channels and BT.601, BT.709, BT.2020, Adobe RGB colour spaces are supported.

Installation notes

Plug each male connector into a DisplayPort 1.4 source and display; no drivers or software are required. The 28 AWG tinned-copper conductors are flexible but should not be bent sharply near the plugs. Ensure both devices run DisplayPort 1.4 firmware to unlock 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz; older ports will fall back to their maximum rated mode. Not suited for buyers needing longer runs or angled connectors.
