A 3.3 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbps for 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 1440p at 240 Hz with HDR and triple shielding
The LUOM DP8KA1 is a male-to-male DisplayPort 1.4 cable rated for 32.4 Gbit/s HBR10 bandwidth. It carries 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz with HDR, HDCP 2.2 and DSC 1.2a support. Triple shielding and solid copper conductors protect signal integrity over the 3.3 ft length.
Buyers driving an 8K panel at 60 Hz or a 4K panel at 144 Hz will get the full bandwidth they need. The cable is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort versions for older GPUs or monitors. It is not for setups that require longer runs beyond 3.3 ft or installations needing angled or locking connectors.
Installation is a simple push-fit into any full-size DisplayPort 1.4 socket on a GPU, monitor, laptop or projector. Gold-plated, corrosion-resistant contacts reduce the chance of intermittent contact. The only common issue is accidental unplugging if the cable is routed under tension, since the connectors lack a locking latch.

Other versions of this model
Yes, both the source and the display must provide a DisplayPort 1.4 connector for the cable to operate at its rated 32.4 Gbps bandwidth.
The cable is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort versions such as 1.2, so it will carry 4K at 60 Hz or 1440p at 144 Hz on that monitor.
Check the display settings in Windows or the monitor OSD; they should report 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with HDR active when the source supports it.
