This LUOM E-yield T05 KVM switch lets two computers share four USB 2.0 peripherals with a single button press. It suits home offices or small workspaces where a printer, scanner, keyboard and mouse must move between a Windows PC and a Mac or Linux machine. No driver installation is required on supported operating systems including Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS. The unit draws power from the USB bus and includes an optional micro-USB port for a standard 5 V adapter if needed.

Two USB 2.0 cables included with the switch

The package supplies two USB 2.0 cables so each host computer can connect immediately without extra purchases. Four downstream ports accept devices such as printers, scanners, card readers, flash drives, keyboards or mice. An optional micro-USB power input allows a standard 5 V adapter to stabilise operation with higher-draw peripherals like portable hard drives or SSDs. LED indicators show which computer is currently active, removing guesswork during switching.

Plug-and-play setup with manual button switching

Connect the two supplied cables to the host computers, attach peripherals to the four ports, and press the front button to toggle control. The switch requires no software configuration on compatible systems. The only common issue is insufficient bus power for demanding devices; the manual advises adding a standard 5 V adapter to the micro-USB port in that case. Using any charger with a higher voltage output is not allowed and may affect product performance.
