Power and Compatibility

The LUOM Essager CG100W is a USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 100W power delivery at 20V/5A. It supports PD 3.0 and QC 4.0 fast charging protocols and includes an E-marker chip for stable current management. The 6.6ft length provides reach for desk or bedside use.

Who It Suits

This cable suits owners of USB-C laptops, tablets and phones that accept up to 100W charging, such as MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23/S22/S10 and Pixel devices. It is not for users who need video output or a shorter 3.3ft option.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 480Mbps data transfer rate. If your workflow moves large files between devices, this USB 2.0 speed will be a bottleneck. For charging-only setups the 100W rating is the deciding factor.

Questions about this item

Does the package contain anything besides the blue USB-C to USB-C cable?

The box holds only the 6.6 ft blue USB-C to USB-C cable; a USB-C Power Delivery adapter must be purchased separately to reach the 100 W output.

Should I choose the 6.6 ft or the 3.3 ft version of this Essager CG100W cable?

Select the 6.6 ft length when you need extra reach across a desk or sofa, and the 3.3 ft version when a shorter, tidier cable suits a power bank or travel bag.

What does the 100 W (20 V / 5 A) rating mean when I plug the cable into my MacBook Pro 16"?

With a compatible 100 W PD charger the cable can deliver up to 100 W, charging the MacBook Pro 16" to roughly 38 % in 30 minutes or 55 % in 35 minutes.
