An integrated E-Marker chip and 56K ohm resistor manage the PD 3.1 negotiation so laptops, tablets and phones can draw up to 5A safely. Data runs at USB 2.0 480Mbps, enough for file transfers but not for video or USB 3.0 speeds. The right-angle plug keeps the connector close to the device in tight spaces.

Heat, noise and power in use

The cable itself generates no audible noise and stays cool during normal charging because the copper core and smart chip regulate current and voltage. It supports 100W output, so a compatible charger can push 20V/5A through the cable to a MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Galaxy S22 Ultra or Switch.
