Transparent USB-C cable with E-mark chip

This LUOM Essager XJ cable uses a clear connector shell that reveals the internal circuitry and an E-mark chip for negotiated power delivery up to 100W. The 3.3ft length suits desk or bedside charging. Two cables come in the pack. ||

5A current rating and 480Mbps data

The cable carries 5A at 20V for 100W peak charging and transfers data at 480Mbps. It does not support video output. Quick Charge 4.0 is supported for compatible phones and tablets. ||

Check your charger and device limits

Actual power drawn depends on the charger and the connected device; a phone limited to 40W will only draw 40W. Verify that your power adapter and device both support USB Power Delivery at the required wattage before ordering.

Questions about this item

How often will the cable ends need replacing given the bending rating?

The reinforced ends are tested to withstand at least 35000 bend cycles, so replacement for mechanical wear is unlikely under normal daily use.

What limits sustained 100W charging before the cable becomes the bottleneck?

The built-in E-mark chip caps output at 20V/5A, so the cable itself stops delivering more than 100W even if the charger and device support higher power.

Does the cable get hot or draw extra power when running at 100W all day?

The E-mark chip auto-adjusts power to prevent overheating, and the nylon-braided jacket with zinc-alloy shells helps dissipate heat during continuous high-wattage charging.
