What the product is

The LUOM Essager XR is a USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 100 W power delivery and 480 Mbps data transfer. A built-in LED display shows real-time charging power, and an E-Marker chip regulates voltage and current for safe operation. The 6.6 ft nylon-braided cord terminates in zinc-alloy connectors.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits owners of USB-C phones, tablets and laptops that support PD, QC5, FCP or PPS fast-charging protocols and who want visible power feedback. Buyers who need data rates above 480 Mbps or video output cannot use this cable for those functions. Users with devices limited to lower charging speeds will still charge safely at the device's own maximum.

The specification that decides fit

The cable delivers up to 100 W at 20 V / 5 A and transfers data at 480 Mbps. If your device and charger both support 100 W PD you will reach the maximum charging speed; otherwise charging will be limited to the lowest common rating.

Questions about this item

Does the LED display on the Essager XR cable generate noticeable heat during a full-day 100W charge?

The LED display shows real-time power without adding measurable heat; the E-Marker chip regulates 20V/5A current so the cable stays cool even during extended 100W sessions.

Which charger must I already own to reach the 100W rating on this 6.6ft USB-C cable?

A PD charger capable of 20V/5A output is required; the cable’s E-Marker chip will negotiate the full 100W only when the power adapter supports that voltage and current.

Will the Essager XR cable charge a MacBook Pro 16 at the same 75% in one hour speed if I keep my older 60W adapter?

No — the 60W adapter limits output to 60W, so the 16-inch MacBook Pro will charge at the slower 60W rate rather than the 100W speed that delivers 75% in one hour.
